May 2004 to Jul 2006

Fort Riley KS

Upgrade the US Army's Petroleum, Oil and Lube Depot (POL) which included truck offloading rack, API

653 inspections and repairs to 4 storage tanks. Removed and installed new truck loading pumps, meters, flow control valves, and loading arms and hose assemblies. Removed & replaced the oil water separator system, and applied coatings while the POL was in service for the entire project. Shutdown was performed with minimal disruption.  Performed API 653 Tank Inspections, procurement, all construction services and project supervision.

 

Sep 2005 to Apr 2007

Perimeter Oil, Inc. Atlanta, GA

Construction of 2 new storage tanks total 80,000 bbl., raised all product pipe lines above ground on fabricated steel pipe racks with upgraded pipe diameters and new receiving and shipping valve manifolds. Installed the product shipping/transfer pumping station with an 800 Amp MCC, transformers and complete repower of the distribution system. Upgraded the truck loading capacity to 6 arms on each of the 4 bays. Perform API 653 inspections and repairs to 5 existing tanks, increasing the terminal automation controls capacity.  Work was accomplished while terminal was active with minimal shutdown time. Provided Project Management, procurement services and design consultation to the Engineer of Record.  All labor & tools for the mechanical, steel, concrete and electrical trades including our in-house shop fabricated all the pipe support steel frames including galvanizing. Provide API Tank Inspectors for all new & repair work. Coated all pipe & tanks.

 

Aug 2006 to Feb 2007

TransMontaigne, Inc.  Collins, MS

Installed new double bottoms for two 150' diameter gasoline tanks including secondary containment, leak detection and cathodic protection. Modified the shell nozzles and connecting piping, installed new internal floating roof seals for both tanks. Supplied & fabricated shell nozzles, repads, steel plate, liner materials, cathodic protection systems, installed the roof seals and provided mechanical labor crews to perform all work.

 

Oct 2006 to Jun 2007

Porch Band of Creek Indians Atmore, AL

Installed 8.5 miles of 8" diameter fusion connected HDPE SDR 21 forcemain sewer lines and tied into the waste water treatment plant for the Tribe's new casino development. Work included construction of 2 concrete lift pumping stations and controls.  Supplied all materials & equipment including civil and electrical trades.

 

Apr 2007 to Dec 2007

TransMontaigne, Inc. Pensacola, FL

Partially demolished and refurbished a hurricane damaged 300,000 bbl. storage terminal. Constructed a new office and warehouse building, rebuilt the dock platform and pier including Chiksan marine load arms. Built a new 3 bay truck loading rack including canopy, 6 load arms per bay, meters flow control valves and vapor recovery systems. Completely rewired for a 1,200 Amp main service, MCC, transformers and distribution center. Construct 95,000 bbl. of storage in 2 new tanks. Install new receiving and shipping welded product piping, manifolds and pumps stations. Provided tank farm lining for secondary containment to meet Florida Codes. Provided all labor crews with tools for the mechanical, steel, concrete, electrical and building trades. Supplied & installed the structural steel canopy and provided coating services for all piping & tanks.

 

Jan 2008 to Dec 2008

Eagle Rock Energy Atmore, AL

Completely rebuild an existing oilfield, including 5 miles of flowlines, separator stations and the central processing plant. Removed & replaced all process valves. Safety was paramount due to the high H2S properties of the crude oil & condensate at the Big Escambia Creek Plant.  Provided all labor crews with tools for the mechanical, steel and concrete trades.

 

Feb 2008 to Jan 2009

BP Oil Terminals. Birmingham, AL and Montgomery, AL

Construction of ethanol truck offloading and blending facilities at 2 terminals. Constructed and post weld heat treat welded connections for all new ethanol piping systems with 100% x-ray , installed the ethanol/gasoline blending systems and the electrical and controls systems for new pumps & meters. Upgrade existing product piping and pumping systems. Installed new truck rack canopies. Provided all labor crews with tools for the mechanical, steel, concrete, electrical and building trades. Supplied & installed the new truck rack canopies and provided the PWHT services.

 

Oct 2008 to Aug 2009

TransMontaigne, Inc. Bainbridge, GA

Upgraded the existing receipt & shipping pump stations and manifolds for the installation of ethanol truck offloading and blending systems by fabricating a 4 bay truck canopy over the existing load rack. Piped-in 2 new storage tanks with pumps, installed all new electrical and controls systems for 1,200 Amps service system with transformers, MCC and PLC controls. Installed the new rack pumps, strainers, control valves & meters. Connected and commissioned all terminal automation and control systems. Start-up & troubleshooted all the piping power and controls.  All work performed at an active terminal without disruption of daily operations. Supplied & installed the 4-bay truck canopy over an active 2 bay rack.  Provided all labor crews with tools for the mechanical, steel, concrete, electrical and building trades.

Fabricated a 2 bay truck canopy over the existing load rack and installed a new the electrical and controls systems for the new pumps, blenders and PLC controls, the new rack pumps, strainers, control valves & meters. Connected and commissioned all terminal automation and control systems. Upgraded the existing receipt & shipping pump stations and manifolds for the installation of ethanol truck offloading and blending systems.  Fabricated & installed the extra-long 2-bay truck rack canopy. All work performed at an active terminal without disruption of business. Provide all labor crews with tools for the mechanical, steel, concrete & electrical trades.

Eagle Rock Energy Flomaton, AL

Refurbished the Flomaton Crude Gathering Plant and field facilities. Work included laying 3 miles of new flowlines and gathering lines to the plant. Safety was of utmost importance due to the high concentration of H2S in the crude oil which made the work extremely dangerous. Provided all labor crews with tools for the mechanical, steel and concrete trades.

 

Jan 2009 to May 2009

BP Oil Terminal. Mobile, AL

Upgraded the existing product piping and pumping systems and constructed a new ethanol truck offloading and blending facility. Supplied & installed the new truck rack canopies.  All pipe welding by post weld heat treating, 100% x-rayed and provided the QA-QC services of the post weld heat treat inspection. Installed the ethanol/gasoline blending systems along with the electrical and controls systems for new pumps & meters. Install a new 1,000 ft. dock line while providing all labor crews with tools for the mechanical, steel, concrete, electrical and building trades. 

 

Aug 2008 to Oct 2010

Vitol, Inc. Cape Canaveral, FL

A new construction, turn-key 3 million bbl. storage terminal with 24 tanks, 6 bay truck rack and over 80,000 ft. of piping. Purchased and expedited all materials and equipment to the site. Solicit and made recommendation for subcontract services of electrical, fire protection, automation, marine pier construction, coating applicators and insulator trades. Fabricated and erected all structural steel, performed over 15,000 welds to assemble the piping systems. Erected and Commissioned 7 of the world's largest marine loading arms, installed the 6 million BTU thermal fluid heater and hot oil tracing system. Preformed start-up and commissioned the terminal for the gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, ethanol, blend stocks and fuel oil products.  Acted as procurement agent and warehousing services for the Owner for over $25 mil of materials and equipment. Solicit bids and negotiate agreements for all subcontractor services. Provide all labor & tools for the mechanical, steel, concrete and canopy crews.  Our in-house Fabrication Department fabricated over 800 tons of pipe support steel frames including galvanizing.

 

Nov 2010 to Dec 2011

TransMontaigne, Inc. Collins, MS

A phased project, scheduled duration for over one year, we constructed new receipt & shipping piping, new deep well pump station and piping manifold for the installation of 4 new storage tanks which included yard piping from new manifold to storage tanks. Constructed & installed the deep well transfer pumps and smaller stripper pumps, new electrical and controls systems for new 600 HP pumps and automated valves. Provide all labor crews with tools for the mechanical piping, structural steel and concrete foundations.

 

Jun 2011 to Sep 2011

TransMontaigne, Inc. Fairfax, VA

Demolished and reconstructed the 5 bay truck loading rack with new above piping and metering equipment. Installed ethanol blending systems to all gasoline load arms, revamped the existing product pumps to increase flow rates and set owner supplied loading & blending skids. Installed a fire protection foam deluge system for the truck rack while performing all tie-in work within a maximum of 5 day shutdown window of the terminal operation. Provide all labor crews with tools for the piping, structural bridging & supports and concrete foundations.

 

July 2011 to July 2012

Plains All American Pipeline, Cotulla, TX

Part of the Eagle Ford shale oil expansion in West Texas, this was a grass roots crude condensate gathering facility. Installed all piping, metering and flow control systems from the inbound pipeline to the two new storage tanks. Piped the tanks through the 4 unit pump stations to the truck loading rack, erected the vapor combustion equipment and truck loading/offloading assemblies. Performed all site grading, drainage, paving & fencing and supplied & installed the 10-bay truck canopy.  Provided all labor crews with tools for the piping, steel and concrete trades.

 

Oct 2012 to Mar 2013

TransMontaigne, Inc. Brownsville, TX

Relocated and lowered a 10", 8" and 6" diameter pipelines to facilitate a railroad expansion. Scope of work involved re-routing several sections of pipeline ROW to allow the alignment of the new U.S.A./Mexican railroad tracks to be built on the border. Pig Drained, purged, and performed horizontal directional drilling and open cut methods of pipe installation. Cleared ROW, string, crib & weld-out new pipe sections. Third-Party X-rayed all joints, hydro tested, and wrapped all new pipeline. Horizontally drilled and/or trench excavated, mechanically lowered-in all new pipelines in HDD wetlands and active road crossings within site of the border.  Backfilled & restored ROW's.  All work was performed in accordance with DOT 195 Pipeline standards.

TransMontaigne, Inc. Collins, MS

Partial design assistance and construction management for a fast tracked, butane offload and blending project at an existing terminal. Provided a 3 bay tanker offload rack, butane compressor stations, piping and mixer equipment for in-tank butane/gasoline blending. Fabricated and erected piping between new manifold and the existing manifolds. Cut & grade the site including drainage, paving & fencing. Supplied, fabricated and erected pipe supports and completed all civil work. Facility was taking in butane in 2 months.

TransMontaigne, Inc. Brownsville, TX

Currently performing minor and major capital and expense projects on an ongoing basis at a multi-terminal facility. Assets include refined fuels, asphalt, food and bulk liquid products delivered by marine, rail, truck and pipeline systems. Perform various new, maintenance, replacement & repair projects awarded on a competitive bid basis.  Crews construct concrete foundations, structural steel frames, dockline, rail and truck offloading repairs.

Quantum Resources Mgt, LLC, Jay, FL

Currently conduct general plant maintenance for a crude oil/condensate/sulfur refinery/natural gas facility. This yearly contract is to perform various capital and expense projects and to assist operations with all maintaining the facility. Safety once again paramount for the work environment is in a high concentration of h2s gas. Provide all skilled labor crews, equipment & tools to maintain, repair & replace components for the plant on a 24/7 basis.  In-house services provide structural concrete & steel, mechanical piping activities, and handle all weather or preparation staffing emergencies.

 

Nov 2009 to Present

Eagle Rock Energy Flomaton, AL

Currently provide plant turn-around and maintenance for a crude oil/condensate/sulfur processing facility. This 4 year contract is to assist plant operations with all maintenance, repairs and condensate truck loading and shutdown activities. Provide all skilled labor crews, equipment & tools to maintain, repair & replace components for the plant and all structural concrete & steel/mechanical piping activities. Parker & Son, Inc., Safety Department provides OSHA safety training for personnel to work in this high hydrogen sulfide environment.
